Dan Dan is an adorable 3-year-old French Bulldog who was drinking a lot more than usual and seemed to be urinating excessively. His owner took him to Wellness and a sample was taken. CT Scan and biopsy has confirmed aggressive B-cell lymphoma, the most common subtype of lymphoma in dogs. The family were shocked when the results returned compatible with lymphoma.
The main treatment for high-grade lymphoma is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy drugs kill the cells that are dividing. Rapidly progressive lymphomas usually respond very well to treatment, and chemotherapy is usually tolerated well in otherwise healthy patients.
Dan Dan only slightly reduced appetite since diagnosis, he has started on his treatment known as a CHOP protocol.
